They're here!
Soft petals. Sweet fragrance. Peonies.
The warmer weather has prompted our peonies to bloom and we are excited to share them with you.
Here’s how it works:
We will offer both pre-picked and you-pick peonies this season.
While a field of peonies in bloom is stunning, they are delicate and will have a shortened vase life if allowed to remain in bloom in the field. I can help extend the bloom window by keeping the flowers harvested and stored.
When you arrive, you will be able to choose from five varieties of peonies. Which ones are my favorite? I absolutely love a mix.
Dr. Alexander Fleming- rose-pink
Duchesse de Nemours- classic creamy white
Kansas- vibrant magenta
Monsieur Jules Elie- light rose-pink
Sarah Bernhardt- soft pink with hints of fuchsia
Once you’ve gathered your bouquet, you're welcome to arrange them in a vase or let us help you wrap them up for storage or gifting.

Pricing:
$4 per stem
$2 per stem for season pass holders
No minimum—choose as few or as many as you’d like.
Peony care tips:
Trim the stems and place them in cool, clean water. Strip off any leaves that would sit below the water line. Peonies love cool temperatures. Keep them out of direct sunlight and consider storing them in your refrigerator overnight to extend the vase life. Change the water regularly.
Tips for storage:
Peonies can be stored for weeks to months to stretch your enjoyment. To start, I would recommend only attempting storage for a few weeks, pulling out a few stems each week for continued fresh flowers. When choosing peonies for storage, select buds that are soft and squishy (like a marshmallow). Remove all foliage, wrap them, and store them dry in your refrigerator away from fresh produce. I dry store my peonies in paper, but others use plastic wrap. When you are ready to enjoy your flowers, give them a fresh trim and place them in water to revive them.
We'll be available to help with cutting tips and flower selection so all you will need to do is come on out to gather your peonies and to check out the progress we've made towards our summer season. We truly hope to see you soon!
With heart,
Brad and Stacie- Your friends at the farm
